Joe Gormley, in 1974, had a overtime ban to run coal stocks down, he had a national ballot , called a strike in the winter, and won. Scargill, with coal at record high, called a strike without a ballot, in the summer, and lost, who was Scargill working for, because it wasn't the miners.

I was never a miner but come from a big mining area and witnessed the suffering of my friends from striking families. Anyone with half a brain, knew the strike would be lost from the outset. The first pit to strike held a ballot and the members voted NOT to strike. The result was dismissed by NUM officials who called a strike anyway. Scargill used the miners to fight a class war. All the pits are now gone and the mining villages and towns are better for it. No more dust and soot covered buildings and landscapes. Air you can breathe. Some miners moved on with their lives and careers to great success. Others stayed, to this day, mourning their rose tinted memories of being a miner. I never met a miner that wanted his son to become a miner.

The miners strike was won and lost (at least five years before it took place). Arthur Scargill was arrigant and thought 'might was right'. Margaret Thatcher did not under estimate the oposition and strenth of it. Thatcher prepared for the upcoming 'war'. The miners strike would have colapsed after five months if the miners wives haden't supported their men folk.

I remember one time when I was about 8, I started thinking someone was controlling me, or inside my head, I stopped believing this about a year later.

I remember one time when I was 8 or 9 I don’t remember my exact age at the time but I was watching a drawing of a blue cartoonish monster on the bathroom door becoming animated and coming to life, I remember it juggling at one point and when it stoped I told my sister about it for her to only tell me that my eyes were playing tricks on me I now know that this was clearly a hallucination lmfao

Might I suggest that you link "Episode 1" and or "Episode 3, 4, 5" or whatever else, was in this particular discussion series. This will make it a lot easier for persons such as myself who are just now discovering this topical issue, to find the other videos in this series. Not a criticism. Just a suggestion. When I was a child, about 4 years old, my mother was studying at night school, I remember standing at the window and seeing what I now realise was a visual hallucination. I was in the living room with my dad watching TV, I was at the window the curtains were closed, but I was behind the curtain, we lived in a large Victorian house and the windows were quite large. I was looking out to see if I could see my mother coming home, as I missed her, I could see a girl and boy, holding hands crossing the road, the girl was older, I think in my mind they were brother and sister, but they were covered in a colourful shimmering aura, like the Ready Brek kids, lol. I didn't say anything to my father, and I wasn't frightened, but I knew it was strange, I remember thinking wow, look at that isn't that weird, but nothing else.
